1099 Report is blank for some users, but not all

When I run the 1099 Transaction Detail Report for last year , no data populates the report. The vendors that I would expect to appear have the “track payments for 1099” checkbox checked in their vendor record. I can’t figure out why no vendors are showing up in this report. QB has changed the way the 1099 forms are processed. I do not need the new NEC, I only need 1099-MICS. I did not change anything in the way I marked vendors.

You will only issue 1099s to vendors you have actually paid, as these are cash-basis documents. Keep in mind, 1099s don’t include accounts payable or amounts still owed to the vendor. Also noted in the original question is that the accounts used for 1099 reporting match the accounts used on the vendor bills. In the drop-down menu, check off each Ledger Account that holds transactions for your 1099 vendors.
